Did you know that in 2016, Ski Magazine ranked Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort as the 9th best ski resort in the West? We made the Top 10 List! According to Ski Magazine,

“It’s about skiers discovering a resort that’s true to itself and therefore to its customers. The prices aren’t Colorado-glamour-resort high and the service is genuinely small-town friendly, not corporate-training-course cold. And the skiing? Well that’s what people do here, visitors and locals alike. It’s the oddest thing: Rarely do you see vehicles speeding up the access road, jockeying for an opening to pass. The community vibe is “We’ll be skiing today, and we’ll be back tomorrow.”

Visitors often tell us that they want to move here someday, and think we’re so lucky to live here. We agree.

Recently I was asked what I love most about Whitefish Mountain Resort. That’s a difficult question to answer. From the snow, the varied terrain over 3000 acres and 2353 vertical, the breathtaking, awe-inspiring vistas from the summit into Glacier National Park to the awesome town of Whitefish and the friendly, happy people who ski here, I love everything about our mountain. With fewer skiers per acre than most mountains, we’re the best kept secret in the West- with almost non-existent lift lines.

And now, with the construction of Snow Bear Chalets, we have one more thing to love about Whitefish Mountain. Talk about the best of all worlds…. True ski-in/ski out TREEHOUSES right on a killer slope! How does it get any better than this? Oh yeah, right… it doesn’t.
